The 2018 Rolex China Sea Race in this edition of the Rolex Spirit of Yachting film series. Interviews with competing yacht owners, exciting race footage and an introduction to Hong Kong’s premier youth sailing programme are among the highlights of this 25-minute documentary. The race started in Victoria Harbour, surrounded by the city’s impressive high-rise panorama, and continued over 565 nautical miles of open water to Subic Bay in the Philippines. Held biennially over the Easter weekend, the 29th edition of this Offshore Category 1 race resulted in Mandrake III, skippered by its co-owner and Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club member Fred Kinmonth, taking the overall win.
