The Extreme Sailing Series - Giving sailing a healthy dusting-off! (video) - Now in its sixth year, the award-winning and adrenaline-fueled Extreme Sailing Series' stadium racing format has brought the action to the public, put guests at the heart of the battle and has dramatically increased the pace on the water! In 2012, and over 11 months of global touring, the Series will visit seven iconic venues across three continents before making its South American debut at the Grand Finale in Rio de Janeiro. Some of the best professional sailors in the world are attracted to the challenge of racing these high-speed catamarans on the stadium style racecourses pioneered by the Series. The line-up that reads like a who's who of sailing including Olympic medallists, America's Cup veterans, World Champions and Round the World sailors. Next up: Nice, France, October 18-21st!
